A booth at a Cayman expo gets judged from the aisle, in about three seconds, by people who are already walking past. Everything below is aimed at that moment.
Plan from the aisle inward
Stand where a visitor will stand and ask what they can tell about you from there. Usually the answer should be: who you are, what you do, and whether it is relevant to them. If your name is the only thing visible, you are relying on people asking, and most will not.
The backdrop does the heavy lifting
A tension fabric display gives you a clean, seam-free wall of brand at eye level. It is the single highest-impact item in a booth kit, and because the frame is reusable, the cost is spread across every event you take it to.
Dress the table
A bare hotel table under a branded backdrop undoes the backdrop. A fitted or stretch table throw is inexpensive, packs flat and finishes the whole stand. It also hides the boxes, bags and water bottles that live under every table at every event.
Add something tall
In a hall with high ceilings, the visibility contest happens above head height. A retractable banner stand or a flag gives you presence from further down the aisle and helps people find you again after they walk away.
Have something to hand over
People who liked talking to you still need something to take. Business cards at minimum, and a flyer or rack card if there is an offer or a process worth explaining. Order those from Paper Products, and order slightly more than you think you need.
Think about transport and setup
Ask how the kit packs down, who is carrying it, and how long setup takes with the number of people you will actually have on the day. Portable display systems are designed for setup without specialist tools; anything that needs professional installation should be known in advance, not discovered at 7am.
Buy for next year, not just this one
